Varsity field hockey (4-6) shut out the Einstein Titans 6-0 at home Oct. 10 in a strong offensive effort.

While the team’s season is a balance between wins and losses, the Rams were able to capitalize on skills they’ve been working on all season.

“I hope we play hard and consistent and keep the ball on the offensive line,” head coach Ray Trail said.

Senior center attack Belen Ribulotta scored the opening two goals in the first half and scored the final goal in the second half giving her a hat trick.

In addition to Ribulotta’s efforts, senior attack Ruthie Fenster boosted her teammates with a goal. Ribulotta scored her second goal adding to their strong 6-0 shutout handily defeating the Titans.

“It is pretty exciting that we won and we had a lot of leadership in the field,” senior defender Kaelyn Padgett said.

Varsity field hockey closes their regular season with senior night as they face off against Kennedy Cavaliers at home Oct. 17.
