The Rampage Staff would like to congratulate senior Sam Elmore who won Ram Idol this year Mar. 22 with his stellar performances of 1985 by Bowling for Soup, I’m Not Okay by My Chemical Romance and Semi Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind.

Elmore captivated the audience and judges with not only his powerful vocals but also his personal take on each song and his dominating stage presence which kept everyone on their feet. His wild dancing, high energy and outstanding voice secured his well deserved win.

Finalists include Elmore, Cheranjana Thuyacontha, Sontana Cremins, two time Ram Idol winter Genevieve Dubroof and Cassidy Lankler who impressed the crowd with equal vigor and passion. The finalists sung a variety of songs that ranged from the genre of rock to country, each with its own flair and inspiration to each song.

The staff would also like to congratulate all of the participants for putting a great show and showcasing their talents to the community. This year was by far one of the most talented group of contestants that participated in the Ram Idol and we would like to thank the contestants for making the performances this year inspiring and stellar in quality.

Lastly, The Rampage would like to thank everyone who attended the event and supported our mission to bring the best form of truth to the people and our community; we deeply appreciate everyone’s strong support for the participants and the event.

We hope to see all the contestants return next year for another great Ram Idol!
