Second Place Winner “This photo is of Byron Glacier in Alaska, which I visited the Thursday before school started this year. It was amazing; some of the ice was blue, the water running out from under it was absolutely freezing and the glacier disappeared into the clouds. I have spent most of my vacations from school traveling to every corner of the country. I have visited every state but Hawaii so far, and I think that Alaska was the most memorable and beautiful.
