This spring, Rockville High School students will have the opportunity to attend an international trip that spans through Switzerland, Italy, France, Monaco, and Spain. This once in a lifetime experience is an opportunity for rams to travel the world in just 10 days, along with their sponsor Mrs. Seabreeze, students will be able to see beautiful sights all around Europe.
Junior Zoe Upton, who went on the 2023 trip, says she would recommend these trips to other students.
They’re a really good opportunity to see the world and build connections with other people,” Upton said.
Past participants show how the memories made are lasting and can make a difference in the lives of all; even the bus rides were a highlight.
“My favorite memory was probably the ride from Switzerland to Vienna… We had made a whole playlist of music to listen to on the bus, and we just had a really good time,” Upton said.
These trips are a great experience to connect with others. This opportunity allows students to explore and have freedom, while still learning about each place along the way.
Seabreeze encourages students to sign up for these international trips.
“I think that it really changes your perspective on the world, seeing things differently and getting to know people from other countries,” Seabreeze said.
This is the trip of a lifetime and an opportunity to teach students about the world and different cultures. Getting to know classmates as well as those around the world makes it a fun and unique experience.
“It’s fun to watch, especially the independence and confidence of the kids,” Seabreeze said. “Watching their excitement makes it really, really fun for me.”
