Senior Shaun McMahon has strong feelings about one new policy this school year: numbered parking permits.
“The worst part is trying to wait in line during lunch or before school with like 30, 40 other students,” McMahon said.
According to McMahon, the overall experience of getting a parking permit is a hassle, and designated parking is an overall adjustment.
“Half the time you don’t even get to the front office in time to get your permit, so they need to come back another time,” McMahon said.
McMahon also believes that Rockville could benefit from adding more parking spaces to accommodate all students in the back parking lot.
“We have designated parking spots, which are, yeah, they’re there. I’m not sure how I feel about them,” McMahon said.
