Rockville High School math and finance teacher Jason Lee has learned many things from life, but the most important of them all is passion.
“Whatever you are passionate about, continue to work hard at it and in due time the pieces will fall into place,” Lee said.
After going to college and dropping out because he was struggling with finding the path that was right for him, he met a friend who helped him through it all. This friend supported Lee’s discovery of new things to enjoy like athletics and nutrition.
“Him guiding me to this helped drive me to realize that I wanted to major in kinesiology and with that it also made me want to understand more about myself and health,” Lee said.
Lee is grateful for the journey he’s had and knows that it helps him to appreciate hard work even more than before. Every aspect of the journey was crucial in getting him to where he is today.
“Life can give you a lot of different expectations, and whatever your mind is set at a young age is never over,” Lee said. “Nothing’s ever late in life.”
