Sophomore Erik Honigfort is very involved when it comes to sports, playing for the cross country, swim, and baseball teams. Honigfort wants to make an impression in the Rockville community.
“The thing about Rockville [is there are] lots of sports, so it’s nice to have multiple options for what I wanna do. “ Honigfort said
Honigfort grew up playing baseball and swimming, and as time went on he started to pick up cross country.
“My favorite sport I play is baseball because a lot of my friends are part of the team,” said Honigfort.
He even plays so many sports that, sometimes, practices overlap and a difficult choice has to be made.
“I have swim and track practice at the same time; Swim is getting missed,” said Honigfort.
Missing out on sports is something Honigfort hates to experience.
“One thing I am scared of is heights, because I had broken my arm before, and I wasn’t able to play any sports for 4 months,” he said.
