Senior volleyball player Naama Delayahu has wise advice to share when reflecting on her 4 years at Rockville as they come to a close.
“One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is that not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you. Not everyone is going to like you,” Delayahu said. “You’re not loveable by everyone and that is okay.”
Delayahu’s personal goals for the future are to be more confident in her actions. Shewants everyone to sense her confidence.
Looking back on her time at RHS, Delayahu’s best high school memory was the tropical football game last year.
“All of my friends were together playing games, laughing together, and making jokes,” Delayahu said.
Delayahu uses the word “exciting” to describe her time at Rockville, especially during her senior year thanks to events like homecoming, pep rallies, and football games.
“This season is really fun because there is always something new,” Delayahu said.
After Delayahu graduates, she hopes to attend an in-state college or Montgomery College (MC), where she plans to study pre-med. Even with these goals in mind, Delayahu has cherished every moment at Rockville and has no regrets.
“There is no need to change what happened. Everything happens for a reason and you build off of what happens,” Delayahu said.
